Control Arm

The control arm plays a crucial role in controlling the wheels’ movement during acceleration, braking, and turning. It maintains proper camber and caster angles while allowing vertical movement. Damage or wear to the control arm can impact the car’s handling, stability, and safety.

Ball Joint

The ball joint is crucial for the suspension system as it maintains proper wheel alignment, controls steering and suspension movement, and supports the vehicle’s weight.

Arm Support/Rubber Bushing

The arm support/rubber bushing is a vital part of a vehicle’s suspension system. It connects the control arm to the frame/chassis and allows the wheel hub to move up and down to absorb bumps and uneven surfaces.

Stabilizer Link

The stabilizer link, also known as a sway bar link, is a metal rod that connects the suspension strut or shock absorber to the anti-roll bar. It reduces body roll and improves handling during cornering in many vehicles.

Tie Rod End

The tie rod end connects the steering rack/center link to the steering knuckle and allows left or right movement when the steering wheel turns. It’s a ball and socket joint in the vehicle’s steering system.

Rack End

The rack end, also known as the inner tie rod end, connects the steering rack to the tie rod in a vehicle’s steering system. It’s a ball joint that allows movement and rotation of the tie rod, which then moves the wheels via the steering knuckle.

Flexible Disc

The flexible disc is a type of flexible coupling used to transmit torque between two shafts that are not in a straight line with each other.

Engine / Strut
Mounting

Engine mounting secures the engine to the vehicle’s chassis/frame, absorbs vibrations and shocks generated by the engine during operation, and keeps the engine firmly in place.
